TEACHING
The saxophone, jazz theory, composition and multimedias links above take you to the course materials that I have developed over the years - these have been used on the Southampton University Music BA degree programme.
In February 2003 I gave a music business seminar and a research seminar at Leeds College of Music. In November 2003 I gave a composition seminar at the University of Texas, Austin
I have written and presented the Jools HollandMusic Makersseries Saxophone instruction video which is now released on DVD
From 1999 - 2004 I worked as a part-time teacher for the Southampton University Music Department as a lecturer in composition. I have recently resigned from his part time work at the university in order to dedicate more time to my professional work as a composer, however I am still very happy to give advice to students and the course resources I developed are still on-line (see links above)
These were originally developed for the Music Institute and subsequently used as part of the Southampton University undergraduate courses in the music department.
