This is a song co-written with my wife, Laurie Stras. Well, actually she wrote all of it except one line). It was originally written for her singing group, The Dirty Blondes.

This is a good example of how a title can sometimes be useful. As the video is about a very hot day, this track may have come up quite high on a word search when they were looking for music. However they didn’t use the main song, just the scat solo section from the middle (sung by Den Hegarty)
