Be a Saxophone Champion!

Champion Prawn

Do you have something to say about saxophones, saxophone playing or saxophone players? Submit an article for publishing on CafeSaxophone. You don’t need to be an expert, just have something to say about saxophones, saxophone playing and saxophonists. In fact you just need to "champion the saxophone". Your article will help with our fundraising

If you are a dealer or manufacturers you can still use this arena, all we ask is a donation, however modest, to our Fundraising activity.

Pete Thomas

I have been a saxophone teacher and professional session musician for 25 years. From 1999 - 2002, as well as giving saxophone lessons, I worked as a lecturer in composition and jazz/pop performance at the Southampton University Music Department, Hampshire, UK.

I am now working full time as a TV and film music composer, so I am unable to give private tuition on a regular basis, however I may be able to recommend a good teacher. Although all of the saxophone exercisess and lessons on this site will be very useful, online resources are not a substitute for one on one lessons from a qualified saxophone teacher.

A few years back I devised and and presented the Jools Holland Music Makers series saxophone tuition video which is now released on DVD. If you purchase from this site all profits go to charity.
