"The" Martin Committee III Tenor.
This is a very tasty horn indeed, I've used it for a few years for sessions. To me this is really absolutely the best for rock & roll. It has been serviced and kept in good blowing order by Stephen (Haynes) Howard. Good pads plus he's checked there are none of the soldered tonehole leak issues that can strike these.
In my opinion these are the very best Martin tenors made, from the best era of vintage martin saxes. I have used this on many TV and fil recording sessions, and yes, I will be sad to see it go.
It's not the prettiest, it looks to me like it has a little of the original lacquer but looks like a DIY spray lacquer has been done over the top. A prime candidate for delaquering.
It has good intonation and, of course, that great Martin lush rich yet somehow darkly creamy sound. Please use the contact button above if you would like to buy this classic vintage saxophone.
(it's saxophone no.2)

I am offering these saxophones for sale prior to putting on ebay. If interested please contact me. I'd prefer for any potential purchaser to try them out first as I am not able to sell them on approval or give any returns if you don't like them, however they will be shipped fully insured so if they are not in the condition as described and pictured I will be able to refund the cost or make good any necessary repairs due to shipping damage.
